To establish a non-resident Indian (NRI) coordinating body for the people of Thiruvananthapuram District in Kerala State, India residing in the state of Kuwait.
To
promote unity and friendship among the members in Kuwait and the people
of Thiruvananthapuram District in Kerala State, India.
To foster friendship and understanding between the members, other Indians,
Kuwaitis and other nationalities.
To promote and work
for economic, social, educational, health, cultural, scientific and relief
activities for the welfare and advancement of the members of the association
and the people of Thiruvananthapuram District.
To make representation
to the concerned authorities in India and / or abroad and to resolve grievances
and difficulties faced by the members and expatriate Indian community
in general.
To engage in charitable
and social services activities of every kind to help poor and backward
sections of the society.
To arrange camps,
conventions, conferences, seminars, symposiums, study group, educational
tours etc.
To help and guide
members and other needy people from Thiruvanathapuram District for employment
opportunities abroad and other related services.
To encourage self-employment
opportunities among the members of the association and the people of Thiruvananthapuram
District for their welfare.
To promote higher
and technical education and improve the standard and quality of education
among the people in general and children's of the members in particular
by granting scholar-ships, loans, grants and other form of aid to poor
and deserving students and institutions.
To act as a promoter
or mediator, if demanded by members, to launch Village Industries and
other industrial enterprises to provide job opportunities for the unemployed
among the members of the association and the people of Thiruvananthapuram
District for their welfare.
To co-operate or
participate with Ministries, Govt. Departments, Officials, Govt. or private
organizations or private or public companies or persons in their activities
and promote or represent or organize their activities or works or feasibility
studies or research or seminars or other business activities for the development
of Thiruvananthapuram District.
To do all other lawful
acts as are necessary and / or incidental to the attainment or the aims
and objects of the association.
